On Thursday we all were able to meet the warriors,we were able to ride in the warriors bus.When we got in the bus was so cool they had feet rests and conditioning and led lights.When we arrived the stadium was huge, but we had to wait abit because they were in an important meeting.When they were done we made our way to the seats and watched them train.Their training was cool,but we have been watching them for ages that we got really bored.When they were done we all lined up in a tunnel so we could get all their autograph,Me and my friends were so excited to get there audigraphs and some even got their idols boots.But me and my best friend were really lucky and were able to get a photo with one of them.When we all got our posters singed we all sadly had to leave and go back to school.we all really enjoyed our time with them and wish to do it again.

Kia Ora My name is Jasleen and today I will be talking about ANZAC day,Hope you enjoy.

On ANZAC day to commemorate the solders that died in the war the teachers decided to make us feel how the solders felt.When the bell rang we all were told to get into three lines and march to the courts.We all obeyed their orders then  they explained the rules.If we talked we would have to do 10 jumping Jacks if we did something good we would get a house point. We all had to start off with doing laps around the court.

Then we went inside,They gave us simple orders.Every thing seemed easy, but then we had to get our thing but under string.And worst part about it was that we were not allowed to touch the rope.It took awhile but we got our things but we did it, assembled into hauraki  and had to make a group with one person from each class.But we only got 20 seconds to do it.

After that we all got our own problem to solve in our groups.We all got 5 minutes to read  them understand what to do.After that we all had to miss out on fruit break and wait until morning tea.We did maths basted on word war 1 and 2, the questions were hard but we finished them.After our morning tea we spent the rest of the day reading 2 Anzac books and making poems based on them,then we got to watch a short film of the war.

After Lunch we all finished our poems and then we all had to untie all the string.We all were exhausted but at the end of the day we all got chocolate fish from Mrs Najak in Manukau.

I remember the Museum trip and Muriwai beach trip the most clearly because I learnt a lot on both of the trips and I enjoyed and had a amazing time.

I enjoyed the athletics day event.

I enjoyed that we got to do sports for the whole day.

I think the responsibility that I have are common at home.

I would say it has been an incredible 1st year at waikowhai and  I cant wait to be a year 6 next year.

They are trying to win the rugby world cup.

The name of the girls rugby team is called the Black Ferns.

Kia ora my name is Jasleen and I am from Waikowhai Primary School.

I am part of an amazing netball group called the Magic team. In the team are; me, Darcey-Rose, Danielle,  Eliza, Deezhanay, Honor, Mo, Alanna and Jodece. I am the main center at the netball games, me and my friends have always played netball in the rain.

On our second  game I played as center with Danielle. Darcey-Rose and Honor were attack, Deezhanay and Alanna were defence. At the start of the game I got the ball off the other team and passed it to Honor, she hit the rim of the goal, it was rolling around the hoop but then we got a point. We were so happy that we scored. We scored again and had 2 points and the other team had 3 points. We were 2 points away from winning but then the game ended.We sadly lost but we all had fun.
